I have been selected to go on a GOLD Trip to Honduras in 2009,
What is GOLD?
GOLD gives GirlGuidingUK members aged 18 to 30 the chance to volunteer in developing countries on vital community development projects.
At the invitation of overseas guiding Associations, teams of up to seven work with local Guides on projects ranging from teaching health awareness to a business skills training programme.
What will I be doing in Honduras?
We still have to develop the programme with the Honduras Guide Assocation but our project will be focused around HIV/AIDS and teenage pregancy
What do I have to raise?
I need to fundraise £1750 which goes towards, all project costs including travel and living expenses, and any equipment you may need to use.
